Uneven brows? Thin lips? Light lashes? Now you can enhance your natural beauty with Permanent Makeup. Permanent Makeup, also known as Micropigmentation, can be performed to enhance your eyes, eyebrows and lips. It can also be used to camouflage your scars and burns.
Permanent makeup involves the micro-implantation of mineral extract into the skin. It is a form of cosmetic tattooing used to enhance facial features. All of the pigments are FDA-approved and allergy-tested.
Imagine having perfectly designed eyebrows, gorgeously defined eyes and sensual looking lips lasting not for a day but for several years. Permanent Makeup is designed to simplify the lives of women who apply makeup everyday.
It is ideal for those who enjoy swimming and exercising but not the inconvenience of having to reapply their makeup afterwards, for those who are allergic to ingredients in makeup, and for those who have difficulty applying makeup evenly because of age or physical impairment. Permanent Makeup even camouflages the scars from accidents, burns or surgery by restoring the natural skin coloring ultimately improving ones self-image and self-esteem.
Micropigmentation is a good procedure if you:
- Have glasses or contact lenses
- Have arthritic hands or difficulty applying makeup
- Have contact or cosmetic allergies but like the appearance of cosmetics
- Have a loss of eyebrows or eyelashes
- Have thin or poorly defined lips
- Have an active lifestyle and want waterproof, perspiration-proof solution
- Have a desire to eliminate daily cosmetic applications
- Have a desire to camouflage scars, burns, and breast areola loss.
What can I expect when I come in for permanent makeup?
First we will do a consultation to discuss the areas, the color, and look you would like with permanent makeup. Then if you are satisfied, you may have the procedure the same day. Numbing cream will be used to ensure your comfort. Afterwards, you’ll look like you’ve had a good cry for several hours following eyeliner. You’ll need to apply cold packs for 10 minutes at a time during these few hours. It is important ot wear sunglasses as your eyes may be temporarily sensitive to light. Eyebrow procedures have the least swelling. Lipcolor often involves temporary swelling.
You must let us know if you have a history of fever blisters so medication can be prescribed.
